Visual Identity and Editorial Design for Golden Mussel
Context: Visual identity developed for a monitoring project of the Golden Mussel (Limnoperna fortunei), an invasive species that poses significant challenges to the power generation sector.
Design Concept: The symbol captures the essence of the species' behavior. It features an organic abstraction of the mussel's form, composed of lines that evoke the fluidity of water and hydrodynamics — essential elements for the species' survival.
Color & Application: The chromatic palette mirrors the natural tones of the mussel and its aquatic habitat. The identity was applied across various corporate deliverables, including executive reports, communication assets, and content presentations.
